Eureka Technology Partners (ETP) announced today that they have signed a major IT infrastructure management contract and strategic partnership with UST Global, an IT services company headquartered in the U.S. ETP will remotely manage 6,000 desktops in ten countries from their ISO 20000 certified Network Operating Center (NOC) in Sri Lanka.
Eureka's Remote Infrastructure Management (RIM) services will expand UST's IT Infrastructure Management capabilities. Through its advanced process maturity Eureka will be able to resolve approximately 70 percent of incidents remotely. Eureka's RIM will expand UST's knowledge base and capability to handle desktop support incidents, thus reducing the number of incidents UST manages on-site. This will result in significant savings for UST and its customers.
Additionally, Eureka and UST will offer IT Infrastructure Optimization services to proactively manage the IT infrastructure of UST's clients. The partnership will result in shared responsibility for internal support as well as provide the means to support select UST clients on future engagements.
"Eureka is one of the few companies of their size that have an ISO 20000 rating. They resolve incidents quickly and at a very low cost," said Tony Velleca, CIO of UST Global. "A team from UST spent time at their facilities in Sri Lanka and came away convinced that Eureka is the right partner for us because their company values align well with UST's. We look forward to growing our relationship with Eureka."
UST is a leading provider of IT services and solutions for Global 1000 firms. Headquartered in Aliso Viejo, California, UST has over 7,000 employees and a clientele including more than 40 Fortune 500 companies. The company is ISO 27001 and BS7799 certified and is being re-certified for CMMI Level 5. UST has a client-centric Global Engagement Model that combines local, senior, on-site resources with the cost, scale and quality advantages of an off-shore operation.
"The decision by an IT services provider of this size, and with such high calibre clients, to partner with Eureka to assist with the remote management of more than 7,000 desktops worldwide is a testament to the standards and quality we maintain, and the expertise of our in-house team. Furthermore, a partnership with UST to jointly promote IT Infrastructure Optimization services to global clients is a significant opportunity for Eureka" said Dilendra Wimalasekere, CEO of ETP.
